Beta Club T-shirt order will be placed November 30. All members will receive one t-shirt at no charge. Returning members can use last year's shirt. If you need a new one, the cost is $10.

The National Beta Club

Mission:

To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. Since 1934, The National Beta Club has awarded students national recognition for their high academic achievement while equipping them to be the leaders of tomorrow. Thejunior division includes grades 5-9 and the senior division includes grades 9-12.

There are no charter or affiliation fees to establish a National Beta Club. Members pay a one-time fee of $15 (per division).

To be invited as a new member of Beta Club (at the end of 5th, 6th or 7th grade)

  • Be on A/B Honor Roll first three quarters of that school year
  • Have no ISS or OSS occurrences
  • Teacher recommendation 

To stay in good standing as a member and be re-invited at the end of 7th grade, the student must:

  • Keep A/B grades for two of the first three quarters. (If student has C or lower, student will be on probation until next grading period. Sponsors will work with student to make sure he/she is doing his/her best work in attempt to keep grades up.)
  • Have no ISS or OSS occurrences (One ISS will be probation; the second ISS in the same school year will remove that student from Beta Club. One OSS occurrence will remove student.)
